I have decided to add a tarot card of the day i think this will help people who are now just learning how to use their new or old decks plus it would make a good read wouldnt it ?

Major Arcana 0 : The Fool

The Fool is the most complex and most contradictory of all the Tarot cards.
The number zero is usually associated with this card. In fact this is simply a shorthand for saying that The Fool has no number. He is outside of such systems: "I am not a number, I am a free man". As such this card can be considered to fall at the beginning of the major Arcana, or at the end, or anywhere in between.

The Fool represents naivety and childlike innocence - yet the Fool is wise.

He carries only what possessions he really needs, having thrown off the rest of the materialistic baggage that we carry. He journeys through life, tasting everything it has to offer then letting it go and moving on.

In many Tarot decks The Fool is illustrated as being about to step off a cliff. Is this symbolic of dangerous, impulsive risk-taking? Or does it indicate one who simply refuses to be held back by the problems life throws in our path.

Whether the Fool represents opportunity or danger one thing is clear: this world needs more fools.

I like the Fool because he is no fool, he is carefree, not careless and I strive to be like him.

Major Arcana XVII : The Star

The Star represents peace, harmony and tranquility. Possibly it is the calm following the storm that destroyed the Tower.
In this card, the storm has passed and the air smells fresh. It is time for renewal, feelings of hope abound. It is time to stretch ourselves, to look forward to new horizons.

Times change, as do we. A new day brings new hope.

When the Star appears in a Tarot spread it represents new possibilities, new hope, new opportunities. If well aspected then those opportunities will be recognised and grasped.

If badly aspected it can indicate a failure to recognise those opportunities, or lack of courage to take advantage of them.

The future starts now.

2 Of Wands Minor Arcana:

Success that has been achieved through hard work. Strength of character and will ensuring that ideas come to fruition. The responsible use of power and wisdom gained through experience. Wealth obtained legally. Job-related perks.

6 of Swords Minor Arcana:

Gradual change, movement or travel away form difficulty or imminent danger. The solution of current problems. Long journeys and passage from pain. Obstacles that are overcome

8 of Wands Minor Arcana:

Understanding and harmony. The time and conditions are right to facilitate success. A process of speeding-up and an end to delays. A time for 'grasping the nettle', taking the initiative or taking charge. This card also indicates: important journeys, correspondence, and favourable news. A card of hope.

The beginning of a new life. As a result of underlying circumstances transformation and change. Major changes. The end of a phase in life which has served its purpose. Abrupt and complete change of circumstances, way of life and patterns of behaviour due to past events and actions. Alterations

Two of Pentacles Minor Arcana:

Vast change and fluctuations. A need to balance many skills when planning ahead. A warning against purchasing items on credit. The cards indicates: imminent changes and movement, such as news, journeys, communications, money, material preoccupations. All change must be skillfully navigated with knowledgeable manipulation of life's rules, in order to attain continued success. There needs to be careful handling of established business.

Effortless success. Good fortune that is unexpected. Coincidences. Luck. The beginning of a new cycle. Advancement. Positive upheaval. Change. A card of good fortune, the appearance of destiny and Karmic change.

An impassive, indifferent and stoical person, who does not always appreciate the feelings of others. A very traditional person who is clever in monetary affairs, patient and hardworking.

Five of Cups Minor Arcana:

A need to re-order and re-evaluate priorities. Union and espousal. Dishonour that cannot be overcome, loss defeat. There is a need to curb futile belligerence and accept the inevitable. Worry and regret, broken engagements and emotional letdowns. Emotional or monetary legacies.

Four of Wands Minor Arcana:

The fruits of one's labour, hard work resulting in the successful completion of a project. This is the card of the professional man: an innovator or renowned designer. The establishment of culture, Refinement, charm, attractiveness and splendour. Depending upon the surrounding cards, there is a possibility of romance.

Ace of Swords Minor Arcana:

Total and complete change of mind. In its purest form the ace is symbolic of strongly constituted authority, and pursuit of ultimate truth. Triumph, victory and success, a rebirth and a new beginning.

This is my fave card. I've always loved it, probably because I'm an Aquarius and she appears as a waterbearer :P The interpretation of the card is, for me, meaningful and optimistic, too.
