"
Work?" Slåtew asked in that same annoying tone, watching her throw the shard away. The slight stench of blood reached his small nostrils, telling him she either injured herself further or it worked. But, judging by how 'intelligent' this girl seemed, it would most probably have worked for her. He blinked, his wings twitching. The branch creaked again, though he didn't care. The small thing was holding the weight of at least one or one and a half grown men, so it was bound to creak and crack. If it did fall, he would just fly away. Then again, the branch would probably fall on top of the half immobile girl below. Using the trunk as support, he jumped onto a branch on he other side of the tree, hoping this one would hold his weight for now. He couldn't see the form below that well now, but oh well. What to do now? What to do? Well, what to do after he found if the girl had successfully gotten the rock out. Fly away? Just sit here? What? Be bored, that's what. He had come out to do something with his time, but after coming out, he had found this much more difficult. There
was nothing to do, at all. Usually, you would think of a creature like him swooping down a carrying off campers (but before blowing out their fires just for safety

) and disappearing into the night. Btu what about the peaceful monsters? Nothing.
