The Ball
The hall was iced over, like it was every year, the pillars dripping with sparking icicles, the floor shining blue and silver. Frosted holly wreaths, trails of ivy, and bunches of mistlotoe adorned the high arches, wrapped around the pillars and dotted the ceiling. Gold and silver bubbles of light floated high above the head of the arriving students and lit the room up brightly, reflecting off the never-melting tables of ice with their frosted fruit and flower centrepieces. From the bubbles dropped a light dusting of snow, that vanished as soon as it made contact with something. The yearly Ball was somewhat less formal then its original so they were allowed to wear formal Muggle dress if they wanted.

St. Mungo's
St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries was founded by famous Healer Mungo Bonham in the 1600s. Entrance to St. Mungo's is achieved by speaking to a mannequin in one of the shop windows and stating your reason for wishing entry. Once the mannequin nods its assent, the people who wish entry may walk through the window and into the reception area of St. Mungo's.

Residences
Wizarding residences. With the making of Oakside-Upon-Tyne, there are a lot of new houses for sale in the normal wizarding community. It is forbidden for any half-breeds to live here, and the ministry urges anyone who knows of any half-breeds who are, to contact them immediately. For your own safety.

Oakside-Upon-Tyne
Also known as ‘OUT’, this village is where all the half-breeds have been placed. Anti-Disapparition spells have been cast to prevent anyone getting out via apparition, and the village is constantly watched in case of escapees. Other than that, the village is like most, with shops and places to provide an adequate supply of employment to the half-breeds.

Platform 9 3/4
Platform nine and three quarters sends a train off to Hogsmeade every day at 11am. However, the train is closed to the public on September the first, as it is when the Hogwarts express comes to pick up its students for the new school year.

Ministry of Magic
One may enter the Ministry via the Visitors' Entrance which is located in a payphone outside on the sidewalk. The entrance code on the payphone is number 62442 ("MAGIC"). Following the prompts of the Operator, passes are issued and the telephone box will descend through the ground into the lobby.
