:)
Just uploaded the stereo White Album labelography. It REALLY needs some more pics!! I think it's all correct but there is a real lack of images for the 70s and 80s copies so it's hard to be 100% sure and give detailed layout difference details. http://www.beatlescollecting.co.uk/labelstereowhite.html Regards, Pacey |

Hi there
I can provide side one of the white album in stereo as mine is indeed one of the mentioned versions with version 1 label on one side and version 2 label on the other. Regards Pvedsted http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn214/p.../whitealbum.jpg |

Do you mean you have no "EMI recording" on one side and "an EMI recording" on the other ?? |

No probs, I probably won't have a chance to get on these for a few days anyway. I had some spare time tonight so have tried to catch up with a few bits and pieces here.

Nice one Pacey!
I have side 4 of the 1A labels, as my copy also is a mishmash of labels. Side 1/2 has "An EMI Recording", side 3 has a mono label without AER, and side 4 has the mentioned one. :D (Posted Image) |

I wonder if anyone actually has a complete all-four-sides set of these first no-EMI stereo labels?!
Mine always seem to have been a mix n match! Cheers, uploading today. Pacey |

I'm in the middle or redoing the stereo White Album page - I think there's a couple more to go on there, I've got a few more images...
Just wondering if anyone has ever seen a stereo, EMI on two lines, SIUK copy?? |

Yep (!!) Though I'm going to include it in with the equivalent smoother one and just say it's an earlier type. As the label design doesn't change I don't think it needs a new section..

it's a difficult one isn't it, it's impossible to cover all shifts of colour varitiations as these changed a lot, especially with early white albums... |

I'm not sure I agree that just a colour change in the green should qualify as a label variation.
In my opinion it should be a variation in the text or layout in addition, but then again - I'm not the boss either. :D |
