What a couple of weeks in BCHS Football. Last week NW/VC and now Cent/TF. Awesome!

This game is gonna be unreal with two totally stacked teams.

Fox, as always, is big and bad and lookin to beat you up. They are not as good as last year but are still a major force. Their D is stellar and will keep them in every ball game. They don't have the stars like they did last year but are still very solid across the board. The only question about this team is their passing game. It has been pretty non-existent all year.

Cent, as always is loaded with premium athletes. Hell, they got two guys already commited to play NCAA Div 1 football at skill positions. #28 is clearly the best RB in the province and he may not be the best ball carrier on the team. Their D has been questioned all year after gettin ripped by NW in their first game but make no mistake, they are ferocious albeit undisciplined at times.

The game will come down to how well Fox's D plays Cent's O. Cent's O has gotten to running time (29 point lead or more) in the 2nd quarter of all their games since Mouat. I don't care who they were playin that is impressive. Fox's D needs to be able to slow them down to get in the game.

If they keep Cent to a slow start on the scoreboard they will probably grind out a win like they did vs. VC. If not, it could be a long day for Fox. The Fox O, while very solid, is not very explosive. On the flip side though, the Fox O can grind out yards like crazy so they could keep Cent's O off the field.

Basically whatever D plays better will probably win. If Cent can stop Fox's power running, Fox is in a lot of trouble. Vice versa for Fox if they can contain Cent's Durant and #28.

I think this game is gonna be a low scoring knock'em out battle. Everyone should be at this game.

That is spot on, well done.

Fox is going to have play to their strengths; a ball-control offense and tough physical defense. Centennial is going to have to follow the Mouat gameplan, get a couple quick scores on the board and force Fox out of their comfort zone (running the ball).

I was at the Mouat/Centennial game and was very shocked when Durant went in as the QB. This plays right into Fox's hands, as their front 7 is probably the most physical in the province. Fox will be able to stack the box and make Durant throw the ball (not good for Cent).

I think that Fox will be able to run the ball successfully and their front 7 will be able to contain Kankolongo. Centennial will be best served with Durant split wide and Lang at QB (provided Williams can't go). If they don't make that move, it puts way too much pressure on Pospichil to have to make plays (against King, at that) out wide.

I think Fox wins 28-14 and claims the #1 seed in the East.

I agree with this 100% plus Fox has made changes to their QB and RB that make them stronger than in their loss to WJM.

Cent always has a chance if Fox goes all NW (like in their last game) on them and turns over the ball and makes msitakes.

It is going to be a great game and I hope that the turnout is good.

Not as good as last year but approaching at a run
Since Mouat and increasingly over the last 3 games, I have looked down on the field and could have sworn I was watching last years' Ravens.
Good or bad on Friday, which is only 1 game, this TF coaching staff of Kudaba, McDonnell and Lapa et al have more than impressed with their ability to tinker and experiment and make tough changes, changes that don't come lightly but benefit the entire team.
Mouat, IMO, is a better team than last year...ditto Cent, NW and VC.

Prediction...Fox 42 Cent 23

I think Cent has easily got a chance of taking this one with there playmakers.

But having Lemar at QB is really going to hurt them for these games against stronger opponents, touching the ball every play is good against bad teams cause he can pray on weak outside linebackers and slow safeties but Fox is very well rounded with good players at all the defensive positions, that being said though Lemar is very deceptive and i wouldn't count him out but he is not going to be running for 70 yard TD's on every second play like he did against the weaker eastern conference teams.

Fox 21
Cent 14

The key to the game will be the secondary support on D after the massive and smothering D line of Fox.

King, Canales, Patko, Green and company are all very good and fast and hit to punish. If Cent keeps it on the ground it will be a long night. King is also one of the few DB's that can cover Durant 1-1 if Cent switches up Lang at QB.

To me this is going to be Fox's statment game to tell everyone that a repeat is in order for Fox.

Sorry, Clover, but this will only be a game where Fox evaluates what it has to do to repeat.....only the playoffs count.

Ya Suit I do know that only the playoffs count but Fox has tons of pride and wants to show that the loss to WJM was a blip.

It's going to be a great game.

I don't know who will win this game, but wouldn't it be something IF Terry Fox beats Centennial, Notre Dame beats VC, and South Kam beats Kelowna. That would mean a 3-way tie for each division... Certainly possible for the Eastern/Interior conferences, but I don't think it will in the West.

I love Fox as much as the next guy but some of these responses are ridiculous. Cent has fared better against every common opponent than Fox. Cent runs about 15-20 plays to get 50 points. Fox at least double probably more. To say King can man up Lemar is just plain dumb. No one can even double cover him.

I hope Fox wins but it won't be easy. Fox is big but so is Cent. 2 DTs over 300 and #17 at DE is at least 250 and 6'7". THEY ARE A WAY FASTER TEAM THAN FOX. Like I said earlier it is up to Fox's D to slow down what I feel is the most potent O in the province. Numbers don't lie. Patko is a solid player but he is not very athletic. I highly doubt he cn tackle lemar or 28 in the open field. I think Cent will spread Fox out just like Mouat did and they have better players.

Go Fox. But to say it will be easy and Cent can only win if Fox turns the ball over 8 times is just dumb.

I think that Cent will try to go up early with trick plays and plays not seen in previous games. Fox better be ready because they are notorious this year for starting slowly.

Having said that, I think the difference in the lines of Fox and Cent is the difference between athletes and statues...although the bigger the statue, the harder to get around..LOL

King was able to cover Durant 1 on 1 last year pretty effectively is Durant that much better this year and King not?...gonna be a good one.

Durant was able to move the ball down the field effectively in both Fox/Cent games last year and other guys took it in. This years he's bigger and faster. I'd love to see a matchup!
