Yes, 3 - 0 was the correct score in the Seaquam/Boyd game. Seaquam had the only 2 scoring attempts in the whole game, both in the first half, and both field goal tries. The first one was short and the second one was just inside the right post. A lot of people, including Boyd's coaches, thought it was wide but the refs were lined up correctly to see it.
Hell of a defensive game from both teams ... a lot of people heading for the hot tubs afterwards. Carriere from Boyd was a one-man wrecking crew. I don't his stats but it seemed like he made every tackle on defense, many for losses, and many with huge hits. Both teams did a good job of hanging onto the ball under the circumstances. From what I saw, it's a shame that Boyd didn't make the playoffs. They were a good enough team to deserve a spot. |
