Title: Wingleader & Wingsecond Signup
Description: Looking for Wingleaders/seconds again!

Marvealle - May 23, 2011 04:44 PM (GMT)
Something had been posted up in the Dining Hall of the Weyr that day. Dragonriders quickly began to grow interested and word spread quickly of this posting. It was a sign up list, one for Wingleader and Wingsecond positions! This was big, and word amongst the dragonriders couldn't help but spread through the Weyr in a matter of hours, and by the end of the day, the whole Weyr would know.
QUOTE ("The Post")
Good day, Dragonriders of Atricis Weyr

This is the Weyrleaders, writing this to all of you. To keep things short and to the point, some of our Fighting Wings are in need of new Wingleaders as well as Wingseconds. We are going to be holding interviews within the next few sevendays and auditions after that for anyone who is interested in these positions. If you are interested in a Wingleader or Wingsecond position, please sign up below under the proper section. Remember, this won't guarantee the position you request, but we need to know how to interview and test you.

Take care and prepare yourselves, Weyrleaders of Atricis Weyr

Once more Rivir found herself staring at a sign up sheet for those interested in becoming either a Wingleader or a Wingsecond. The short woman stared for a moment at the short list of names, shrugged and wrote her own name down under the wingsecond section. She'd been through the process, or at least part of the process, before, though nothing much had come of it. Rivir suspected that was because the leadership had had other, far more important, things on their minds. Like Myrna's death. Shells but was that goldrider missed. It was going to be odd, going through this again without the kindly presence of the woman who'd been Senior Queen Rider for as long as Rivir had been at the weyr, at the interviews and tests.

((Mostly for gits and shiggles...J'don for Wingsecond))

J'don had always dreamed of having a high ranking position. He had been used to privilege in the Hold, and then he had spent most of his time at the Weyr on the bottom rungs of the ladder--candidacy and weyrlinghood. Now that he was graduated, being a rider was honor enough, but riding a Green meant that he would probably never be one of the big shots. He wouldn't trade Mavareth for the world, but it was still a little disappointing.

Then, he saw the Wingsecond audition signup. He'd never heard of a Greenrider being a Wingsecond, but there was a first time for everything. Grinning, he marched up to the posting and signed his name in flowery handwriting.
