Some where lost deep in the caverns, Elwyn escaped the watchful eyes of the candidate assistant under the guise of replacing glows. With a smirk she slipped his sight, making her way down a narrow corridor, replacing the glows until she found a nice little spot to settle down. With her hiding place discovered, Elwyn sat down, her back against the wall, enjoying the coolness that blew from somewhere deeper in the cavern. She used the light of the glows she brought with her, though she had long stopped her work of replacing them and instead turned her focus onto the wood she pulled from her pocket and her dagger, Steely.
She whittled away at the block, enjoying the feel of the wood giving way to her sharp blade. But it was not long before the sound of footsteps echoed in the corridor faintly. So... she was not alone...
She did not call out, but her gaze did focus, waiting for the face appear.

Cursing his foster father in the privacy of his mind, Darko once again made his way down to the lower tunnels. Why hadn't the old man made someone else do this sharding trip? He had after his last trip made a map of all the different traps and where they could be placed next. So why? He made no attempt to keep quiet, he made no attempt to stifle his footsteps. He had a puppy to take care of. A small, helpless pup who needed him for everything. Kicking a rock farther down a tunnel, Darko wondered what his girl was up to now?
"She's probably chewing up my boots," He said softly, with an almost fond note in his tone. "She loves those stinky things. She doesn't care for the clean rope Favarin gave her, nor does she like bones. But those boots!" He spoke like a proud papa with a newborn. As he checked the traps along the way Darko couldn't help but remember how he found his Sooki in one not so long ago. His footsteps quieted then, as he thought of his girl. If the candidate was this protective of a canine pup, who's to say what he'd be like with a human child, or say... A dragon?
His head lost in happy thoughts Darko lost track of where hen was headed. For once in his fifteen turns, he dropped the defensive air that was as natural to him as breathing. Who knew what lurked around the next corner? Could it be trouble?

She should have known she would have seen him eventually. There was no avoiding Darko forever, though Elwyn wished desperately that she could have. That young man had found a way under her skin, and knew things about her now that were to remain secret for eternity from the minds of Atricis. Darko knew there was something about her, Elwyn was certain of that, and that alone made her feel extra vulnerable that she did around anyone else.
Still, Darko was not a worthy enough cause to gut, so she sheathed her little dagger, Steely, and hid her whittling project away. She could get back to that later. Gathering herself slowly to her feet, her movements silent, she waited for the man to get a little closer before she approached him in the dark. "I thought I might eventually see you again," her voice began, her tone undecided between purring and growling at him. She was debating toying with him, like a feline to her prey, but she decided it was best to sparing him for now. "So what brings you down here? It wouldn't be me by chance? I'd hate sound presumptive... but have you missed me? Thinking of me frolicking naked through your thoughts?" The idea of him fantasizing about her was thrilling, and if not, it was a nice thought that she might embarrass him just a little with the uncalled for remark.

To say that Darko was surprised to see Elwyn in the tunnels was like saying Sooki was the teen's pet. Sure it did the job, but it doesn't portray the whole story. Surprise, fear, anger, and embarrassment played over Darko's face in the dimly lit hallway. The fear was a momentary thing, but enough of a trouble that Darko felt the need to address it, mentally at least. The anger was directed more at himself for allowing his guard to come down. Hadn't his early turns taught him anything? Letting your guard down meant getting caught, getting hurt.... Shaking his head for a moment Darko shook away such thoughts.
A simple, "Elywn," greeted the first candidate the boy had met once he had made the cross-over. He stopped fidgeting when he heard her words, her dry tone. His embarrassment flared again as his mind went over what she actually said. As it sunk in Darko was forced to admit that late at night, something like that had come to mind.... Clearing his throat against the sudden lump there, Darko tried to salvage the situation. "I'm curious as to why you're down here, Elwyn. I'm here on a mission, despite what my wishes are on the matter." Gesturing back down the hall he had come down just seconds before. "I've got traps to check. What's your story?"

She heard his excuse and merely shrugged it off as nothing and nonsense. Once he inquired her own reasons, however, an impish grin revealed itself against the faint light and shadow. "Nothing out of the ordinary," she began as she carefully approached him, until she was face to face. Her dark gaze, normally a rich haze green in the light, seemed more black now as she watched him, calculating him and his intents. Did she have an affect on him, she wondered.
Feeling bold, she settled a hand on his hip as she stepped to his flank. "Just... loitering, shrinking away from my duties... become lost in certain thoughts," she whispered to him, hoping to catch the glow of a blush deepen on his skin. Let him take her words as he may. Though she did hope he took them the right way, if only to fuel her need of entertainment at his expense.
Shards, Elwyn, you are awful... But she sure did love it that way.

Swallowing against the lump that formed in his throat, Darko did his best not to flinch at the soft touch at his hip. While he thought he understood Elwyn's intention, he couldn't help the fear that his mother had forced on his young mind. All thoughts about his mother soon fled from his mind when he heard her suggestive words. There was no helping the blush on his cheeks as he tried to escape the unusual situation. Could he change topics? Would she follow his lead on that? Or as her stance suggested would she continue the onslaught?
"Thoughts?" He squeaked out before his voice was ready. Clearing it against his renewed embarrassment, Darko tried again. "What sort of thoughts might those be, Elwyn? Or are you too embarrassed to share them with me?" He taunted well aware that the situation was actually reversed. His left hand twitched at the sudden thought that came to his young mind. Where exactly it came from he wasn't sure, but with all the hormones pulsing through his system it would have been no surprise. From seemingly out of the blue, Darko had an urge to place his own hand against her hip. So now the poor lad was stuck in the normal debate. To give into his urges to to battle them down....

Oh, the rouge his cheeks was unmistakable, that slight splotch of embarrassment, his flustered response with his pubescent squeak in his tone. She listen to his attempt to be confident, and could not help but chuckle in response. He was trying so utterly hard, which only made his failure that much more enjoyable. Nothing amused Elwyn more than making a man squirm. Too bad he was so young, or else this would have been far more entertaining, but Elwyn was able to make do with what she had presented to her.
Carefully, her body turned just enough so that what feminine curves she possessed suddenly brushed against him temptingly. She grinned at him, the fiendish dance sparkling from her eyes as she watched him, and then slowly her rose touched lips neared him, brushing against his flushed cheek, hinting at the softness he once felt from them when she once kissed him. Turning her gaze slightly, she closed her eyes, allowing her lashes to grace the soft skin of his cheek. Finally those bow shaped lips gingerly caressed his ear lobe before she whispered to him tantalizingly. "If I were so embarrassed about my thoughts, why would I have mentioned them to you in the first place? Do you honestly think a girl like me can blush so easily Darko?"
Her mouth abandoned him, as did her body before she walked passed him, her delicate shaped hand stroking the smooth wall of the long narrow corridor with nothing but suggestion painted in every one of her movements. "I was admiring these walls, thinking of what other uses they might possessed..." To emphasize her meaning she turned slowly against the wall until her back rested flat against it while her fingers played the fine lines of her body and combed through her tangled locks. "What do you think about when you see these walls, Darko?"

So he was right about her intentions about that hand on his hip! Darko blanched as she tempted him. Instead of just one hand flexing in anticipation, the poor teen fought to keep both hands to himself. The fight only grew harder as she bushed a soft kiss against his hairy cheek. "N-no," He stuttered as he tried to keep his attention on her husky words rather than her actions. Relief flooded him as she moved away. A soft sigh left him as he tried to relax his suddenly taut body.
The tension only mounted within the poor teenage boy as she began talking about the pleasures of a cool wall. Swallowing against a suddenly dry throat, Darko waited until he could actually speak before answering her questions. Fighting a battle against his body's reactions, Darko realized it would be a moment before he could reply. Shifting his stance slightly he hoped his battle wasn't too obvious as he tried focusing on what to say. Clearing his throat gently he offered, "Stability. That's what I see when I look at these walls. They were here long before either of us were born, and with any luck they'll be that way long after we're gone." He knew his answer wasn't one she expected. Or at least he hoped it wasn't one she expected. His mind was still lingering back in the gutter somewhere, and he knew if she pressed him for more, he wouldn't be able to reply. In his mind's eye all sorts of interesting things were happening and Darko wasn't too sure if he liked where his mind and hormones were taking him.

His words said one thing, but his anatomy said another. She grinned at the sight of him in the dim glow light, eying his shape and chuckling slight at how he tried to hide it. But there was no hiding anything from Elwyn. It was abundantly clear what he wanted, of course what he wanted and what Elwyn would actually give him were two very vastly different things.
She wanted to make him squirm, tormenting him until he turned blue. Thus far it seemed she might have been succeeding, but to secure her triumph she felt dared to push him just a little more. Light brisk steps carried her to him again, meeting him face to face as she pinned him against the wall in a sudden movement. "They are rather stable aren't they?" she stated to him as her body pressed against him, her hand wandering again, finding the buckle of his pants that her thumb caressed. Only then did her lips find his ear again, teasing it for the first time. A steady exhale of breath ran tantalizing past her red lips once more and over his sensitive skin. "Care to test your theory with me Darko?"
Pulling away slowly, Elwyn was suddenly watching him again, letting him feel her rest against him with the youthful man pressed against the wall. Her mouth was close to his own now, daring him to respond. It was a venture into the unknown, but Elwyn was willing to give him a ride if he was ready to take the risk.

Darko blinked and in that second Elwyn pounced. Literally. One second he was fighting against himself, the next he was trapped between a beauty and a hard place. Her husky words had his heart going into overdrive. Why he couldn't figure out but he knew he was fighting a one sided battle. Lost in sensations he was so new to, Darko couldn't focus on her words. He lost that battle when he felt the tug on his belt buckle. Swallowing hard, Darko froze.
Then just as sensations almost had him at his knees, a new torment was added to his torture. The hot feeling of lips near his ear had his knees trembling. What was she up to now? Couldn't she feel the effects she had on him? He asked that question over and over as she began to speak. He was confused about her words until she pulled away enough for some of his blood flow to return to his mind.
Clearing his throat, Darko stole the moment to try and focus. Once her words made it past the warring feelings inside him Darko tried to answer as suavely as he could. "And how would we test that, Elwyn? I'm not quite sure I follow you," He said softly battling the urge to close the gap between their lips.

"Do you really have to ask?" she replied smoothly back before her lips were suddenly brushing against his own, threatening to kiss him so differently than before. Unlike the young man who she had cornered, Elwyn had no restraints, only wants which became apparent in the way she pressed her parted lips against his own for the first time, with a hungered intensity she had not felt in so long. Her mouth ran into his own with a heated fervor while her body rolled against him in an attempt to stir his lust to its peak. She felt her core throb, a pulse that soon became a protest when she pulled away for breath.
Her mouth lingered with his own, threatening to kiss him deeply again, and it was so tempting. But Elwyn's mind had already been made up. It was clear to her that she had gotten what she wanted, and with her challenge met successfully she smirked at him. Her lips teased his own, daring him to kiss her again, initiating an equal passion that she had displayed to him, but before he could react, she pulled away from him completely. "That is lesson one. Maybe next time I'll show you lesson two in how to test the theory of wall stability."

Confusion once again flared in Darko's eyes as he tried to understand her words. He was just about to ask a more pointed question when Elwyn moved in closer, brushing his lips with her own. Something else flared in his dark eyes at that moment, just before they fluttered closed as she deepened their kiss. His heart sped faster as he tried to figure out what was going on. Between the way her body melded to his own, the heat of their kiss and his own active imagination, Darko was lost. Parts of him reacted in ways the poor teen didn't know how to react to let alone what he was supposed to do now.
All too soon the moment was over as Elwyn pulled away. For another pair of heart beats he was tempted to pull her close once more. However the temptation was taken away from him as Elwyn dance back. A broken breath shuddered through him as Darko tried to make sense of what was going on between them. Never in his fifteen turns had something like that happened. Not even during a Golden Flight. Sure he knew what lust was -one didn't grow up in the weyr and not- but he never expected it to feel like this...
Trying to recover his normally calm behavior, Darko almost missed her words. When they finally made it past the fog her kiss had left behind Darko floundered for a moment. "L-lesson one? You mean there's more?" Oh now didn't that just sound like a wet-behind the ears child's question?! Mentally kicking himself for the idiotic question, Darko wondered just what Elwyn would make of that....
