Don't feel shy to ask some questions and introduce yourself. Im here to help everyone out new and old. Im sure youll get to like me once you know me. You can sit on the beutiful leather couch or just in one of two seats facing my desk for a more formal adress. Either way as long as you come in a have fun it is fine with me. Thanks for the congrats I really appreciate it. Ill do my best to fulfill the position you have intented me to have. Ill help recruit, introduce, and train new members on the board. Ill certainly supervise everything under this branch of the ASGC. I think it makes us look more official. The ASGC Academy is proud to be underway. Atleast im proud to head it this capacity to help the new mebers start out and have fun to the fullest extent we can give them. This should be fun smile.gif

First off congrats general!

Second, I was here many moons ago and was a major in the original ASGC on scifi when it first started up. I know its not going to be easy, but I am interested in building up my ranks, and being helpful again! I'll do whatever is needed to help the ASGC!!

Also, because its been awhile and this website wasnt here when I was here before, i have a question on the ranking on the side of our posts.
Will they automatically change when you give us a new rank or what? I dont wanna sound to anxious im just wondering how I build it up, not actually what to do, but how it gets moved up once a promotion coems down the line.

Well, thanks! Look forward to the future and HAIL THOR!!!

I can answer that for ya. That'll change once we get you back into the ranks and on a team. I just updated the ranks a couple of days ago, so it'll be a couple more weeks before the next one is posted. After that, promotions are recommended by each team's CO and approved by the generals.

The Academy portion of the board is pretty new, so we're still trying to figure out exactly how to work all that. Basicly, get involved in some of the various discussions throughout the board... whatever catches your interest. The training period is mainly to determine if someone is really interested iin being active n the ASGC. It cuts down on people signing up and being put on the ranks right away, but dissappearing a week later.

As for your specialty, that's pretty much up to you... whatever your primary interests are. Just tell your team leader once you're assigned to a team. I found the rank list from just before the change over and at that time your specialty was "Strategist". You can keep that or pick something new. It's your choice.

I just want to say that I would love to know if anyone would be interested in playing on teh same server and helping me start the guild when it comes out whenever that may be.

I want to get Worlds when it comes out... if it's still coming out... I've heard rumors that Cheyenne Mountain is running out of funding. There's a couple articles on Gateworld about it. Still, I don't know how much time I'll have to play it if it does still make it.

I used to be up to date with the whole Stargate Worlds thing. Does it matter what operating system I have?

Anyway, let me know when it comes out Angus and I'll see what I can do about keeping up and such!

I think they were going to release it for PC. I imagine anything after XP should be able to handle it.
