Hereby I open my office for running the base.

Ret.Gen. MacGyver's office has been closed due to his retirement. But will still remain for the time being.

I run a casual policy.

So, we can wear jeans and a T-shirt on the base? What about shorts and a Hawaiian shirt? happy.gif

No colored clothes, but blue or black jeans and Black t-shirts are acceptable smile.gif
Can't make ourselves into too easy targets in case an invation occurs at the base.

But when on active duty.. Same UNI as SG-1 use. (either black or green), and out of missions the standard blue or green shirt uni.

I see youve finnaly retired my office and redecorated it with your own personal effects. Im gald to see youve retained the casual policy and freely moving audiance as I started. Im glad to see you finnaly getting the place and recognition you deserve. Im also gald to be able to be here to see it. Retiring is a nice life but im sure you can hang on for quite a while longer with such charisma and spark that inspires us all. When you ever want to retire we should hang out sometime. I know this great fishing spot smile.gif Thanks for letting me stop by. Ill just be wondering through out the base. I hope I have access to all the rooms biggrin.gif its great to talk to you again and im glad I can be back in your presence. wink.gif

Glad to hear you are likeing it here still smile.gif
Isn't it nice how we've managed to get this really nice little community out of something that spawned out of that "why are asgards nude ?" thread on scifi.com?

You know you're always welcome here at the ASGC, Always.
There is always room for you here.

Glad to hear you're pleased with my polilcy here.. I don't see the point in being all harsh.. nah.. I like it casual smile.gif
hence why the casual carried over from you to me.

Pop by anytime smile.gif

It really does amaze me to what this has grown too. I would have never dreamed of making it over 100 member but you sure have made it come true. This orginizationis because of the hard work of many that dedicated themselves to finding the people who truely care about the Asgard. We all love them so much and we began by wondering why they had no clothes. From this we spawned members that wanted to discuss the Asgard and showed there appretiation of the race by comminting there time and energy to this group. I am proud of all if them even if they arnt here to see it at this moment. I just want them to know I care for what they have done here. I wish I could thank all of them or atleast if someone could give them that message. I remember when we first started on the first page. We had no idea what to do or what this would become but as we found at there was quite a few people like ourselves. Those numbers and people enthisastic still continue to grow. People that truely care are still getting on today and making the difference trying to make others happy with the beleifs of the Asgard. We show that they are a great race to behold and an alliance at there behalf is an honor on our part. We are the proud soldiers of the Asgard and the Tauri. We are the ASGC.

Never did get into Farscape, save for those reruns they sometimes show on the WB before the Gates. What do you do for a job, if I may ask?

Hi I just wanted to barge in here and see whats happening since ive been gone. Its been a while hasnt it Raz. I am very happy to see you though im saddened that no one ever replied to my great post above. I thought it was a pretty dramatic speech but I guess no one bothered to read it. Well anyways I wanted to say I just (finnaly) got World of Warcraft and just finished installing it. I just need to finish the account creation though I cant get the website to accept my phone number for some reason. Well anyways I was wondering if their was any way we could get on the same server? I havnt started yet but I hope to invest countless hours into it soon.

The only way we can ever play together is if you got an EU WoW Box and a EU account.. (the two go together wink.gif )
Since I'm european I play EU Realms

But welcome to the WoW Experience. smile.gif

Hello general its great to see you again. I hope everyone is okay with me back in the fray. I really want to get back with the team, with the group that I know and love. You all are my family and it is you that I now turn to to accept me back and let me gather myself and relax. To me this is what I need to really enjoy life. The ASGC to me is more than my love and dedication to the Asgard, it is me and my friends connecting on a level far greater than most of those around me can comprehend! I just like talking to everyone and having a fun time doing it. I just hope we all can get back like we use to. I feel like a looser walking back in here while to me you all stand on pedistals far above me looking down knowing that I have had chances before but I never took the oppertunitys to stay and become and active member again. I actually know you guys would never abandon me but still I can shake the feeling because I know that I want and yearn to be accpeted here once again as I feel so great just being able to express myslef and write again just hoping that one of you might glance over it and talk to me again. Well im here and waiting, I really cant wait till the moment I know I am back with you all where I belong.

You're not the only one who wanders in and out over time. That's why we just revamped the ranks structure to do away with the "reserves" last week. We're trying to stay ahead of the ever changing nature progression of the community. Now older members that have been away can just jump back in without needing to be officially "reactivated" or anything like that.

I most certainly feel like the only one who wanders in here from time to time. I havn't checked the ranks as I have never really seen a reason to since I don't think mine will ever change. I guess I will go check out the whole reserves thing and see how the new mixes in the old. I want to see the ever growing names of users that join and ofcoarse look back at everyone I have met while i was here. Its been great to remember all I have experienced with you all and it never ceases to amaze me how much like a true family this place is to me. I really shouldn't say how much because to me, honestly, this is a second home and most obviously you guys are family to me.

things are simply moving along at their normal sedate pace, with occasional sprints for one reason or another. I go to work, I go out on the weekends, life moves on. that's how things are for me in a nut-shell. so with the exception of "Right now i just needto get a job" how are things going for you?

Oh I can so sympathize with the unemployment issue.
I was unemployed for a better part of 2 years..

Only supplied with summer jobs and some around x-mas time.

So I am so glad to be working now.. so much so I don't really feel like having a holiday..

I guess I am doing pretty good so thanks for askin. I have been getting into reading some of my books again though I am on the same ones though incase you dont knwo I went out and baugh all of them. That is the Dark Tower series. That is 7 books by Stephen King of pure greatness. Well lets see other than that games always consume my life and I cant stop playing them. It is my brother that usually plays our PS2 but I who just gets on our laptop and play computer games or mess around on the interenet. I have enjoyed coming back here and I h ave had fun so far so that is how I have been doing. I still need a job though. I got some applications yesterday but i just really want to settle int oa nice one sometime instead of all this crap like. I know ive barely worked the field but still I work hard and have more then enough determination though I think it was all robbed from me by my last job. Horrible place to be , so let me re-emphazise this again. Never work or let your kids work at .... Hardees!

my hubs just started a new job the day after christmas, after being out of work since july.
Today is the first payday in a long time (thankfully we have a lil military retirement check that covers the house).

I will be so happy to have groceries in the house again. It was getting a tad sticky here - went a week with buying k-1 for heat at 5 gallons at a time. whew. Made it through again.

Unfortunately, i haven't been able to work since my spinal fusion 18 months ago. Well, really, since i fell back 3.5 years ago, i have fought daily pain and limitations that stopped me from any life at all. So i couldn't even get a job to help out.
Makes a girl feel kinda useless, but, things are getting better.

Hardees. We had them in massachusetts. I haven't seen one in years. I always heard they were the worst fast food place to work at. Guess that is why they all closed.

wb, mulder. Missed you.

The biggest reason why they arre horrible to work at is that everything is made to order so everything is fresh unlike every other resteraunt which is obviously a very good thing. Now I didnt mind all the work though believe me I did ALOT. Well anyways the point is I quit because of the people not the resteraunt itself. I can work harfd and physical labor dosnt bother me even if I aint the greatest wieght lifter in the world. Im really small and uncannily skinny. Im barely a hundred pounds sad.gif though I eat way to much. I sware I have the gift that any hollywood star wishes they could have. I can eat all I want and I NEVER grow and fat which I hate. Oh yes I do eat alot.

just wait until that thing called "getting old" sets in. then you will gain some. especially if you start going out to the bars and don't exercise enough. lord know that is what happened to me......although I have lost about 10 pounds over the last 3 months or so....which is all to the good.

I wish i could get older unlike alot of people which fear it. Most of it really is I hate to think of myself as such a looser state that I am now which I cant dirve or even get a job and I kidna want to fast foward through time and become more succesfull me. Well atleast I hope! Then there is also the fact that older people are always so nice and much cooler than my generation which I am asshamed of growing up with. Though honosestly its my little brothers generation that are going to grow up to be the destruvtors of this verse before it even gets a chance to bloom.

Evening general... I have a serious matter to discuss with you. As you know I have been absent for quiet a while (very secret mission at Area 51...can't go into it. If I told you I'd have to kill you and I like you too much for killing) Anyways, I had just relized that I have to idea what team I am on...or even if I'm on a team for that matter. With all due respect, ma'am, I have always served as a ground officer and would like to keep it that way. Also, that fact that I actually am a Marine, I request that a team of Marines be started (if one hasen't already...and I don't think it has...but I could be wrong...I am blond after all)

oh, and by the way...LOVE the new look!

So..
What exactly are you trying to say?
An idea for the community or just an RP event or ?

As for missions they are mainly done in the RP section.

With regards to teams you are on SG-7.
See The Ranks in the General Announcement section. (there is the updated ranking and team set-up and maintained by Contact)

An idea for the community. And I'm sure gen. Collins would second it. We need a Marine team.

Well you are SG-7's leader and you decide what branch of the armed forces you want it to be.

So you have a go for having your team be marine.

We've had a incursion.
User powerful spammed us with badly written plugs for some forum we could use.
I didn't check out links in the fear they might be full of virus/keyloggers so I could not verify the legitimitation of them.

I don't tolerate spam so I've deleted topic and banned user.

I urge you to hold the zats. P90's and staff weapons at the ready as we might get more of them in here.

So I am up to a lot of stuff and as suc I've made a blog site where I write about verious stuff. The blog is mainly focused on games, electronics, comics, films and such, but I do cover other things too every now and then.

So here it is:
The Awesome Blog! cool.gif cool.gif

Hope you enjoy my sometimes rambling thoughts.

A word of warning, this may not be suited for little kids. As my intended audience is the older youth/adults. I've rated it R for a reason.

I've read your blog a couple of times before. Very interesting stuff. I like your Iron Man review. I agree... awesome movie!

I've tried starting up my own blogs before, but I never seem able to stick with it.

I, Raziel_Shanks is now known as Sub-Level28.

It's the handle I'll be know under most places.

I've taken it from my blog title and feel more at home with it, plus it honours our origin nicely.
Named after the very room the Earth gate is located in at Cheyenne Mountain.

Hope you all don't mind.

Your General
