Cho couldn't believe it.
Last year, she had begged her parents to let her buy an owl- but they had flatly refused. But now, they grudgingly accepted her request for one.
Stepping into the musty-smelling building, Cho looked around to see the familiar mass of different-faced owls.
Most people inside took minuets, even hours to decide which type of owl they wanted- but not Cho. She knew exactly what owl she liked. Barn Owls.
They were too cute to reisist, with their heart-shaped faces, and light brown bodies. But still, even narrowing down what type she wanted, there were still alot of owls to choose from.
She didn't want one that was too big- but if she got a tiny one, it probably would have too much trouble carrying mail or packages. Finally deciding on one at the end, she took the golden cage to the front desk, paying almost.... eagerly for the bird.
