Harry hurried out of the Castle doors, on the search for his new friend Ron Weasley. He looked around for the familiar red hair, as he wandered about. He had been wandering around the castle earlier, and had found out that his father had been on his houses Quidditch team as a Keeper, and he felt like sharing the information he had found out.
After about ten minutes, he spotted his newfound friend over near the lake, staring at one of the older students who was in a bathing suit. He hurried over, and slapped him on the back playfully.
"Hey mate, What are you staring at?" he teased his friend, with a smirk. He raised an eyebrow, and looked over to see what was so captivating about the older girl, and found that he, himself, could not look away quick enough.

" I know! Isn't it so wonderful!" she said smiling. She was your average slytherin, not saying thankyou much if at all, thinking she's better than anyone else in the school, being judged before being met for her family blood line. Yeah, she had it all, money, good looks, and guys hanging around her all the time. She looked at Ron, who's face seemed to be more red than usual, and Harry, who still seemed to just be looking at her, transfixed.

Harry cleared his throat after a few more minutes, as he finally started cluing in that Ron had spoken to the older girl, and that she had spoken back. He blinked, and then cleared his throat again. He had never felt this loss for words, atleast as far as he could remember.
"You seem to be very... happy, in your knowledge of you being that good looking." he said, mentalling slapping himself for how stupid he sounded, not that many people would expect much from him anyways... he was a first year, afterall.

Harry smirked back at her, hiding the fact that her name didn't mean much to him, considering he had grown up in the muggle world and didn't know much at all about the Wizarding world. He was thankful, however, of the two friends he had made in Ron and Hermione Granger. They had both promised to keep his lack of knowledge in the magical world a secret and to secretly teach him all he would need to know. He looked over at Ron, however, as he didn't know what to say and was hoping Ron could get the conversation going a bit more.

OOC: I put a time a day on this based on what was said in the Cbox about it being after the sorting ceremony, and the fact that someone was outside in a swim suit by the lake. It woud more than likely be day time (especially for Ron and Harry to see her from far off), with an activity like that - so it would have to be the next day after classes... If my logic seems wrong - let me know, lol.

Hermione Granger had gone back to her dorm room directly after class. But not before she stopped and made a few Hufflepuff girls cry. She didn't need to jinx them, but they were certainly frightened of her. She went upstairs to her dorm, and finished most of her homework at the small desk provided for each student in the room. Once she was satisfied she'd only need to do a few things, she left her dorm room and went to find her new friends, Ron and Harry. She had not expected to actually find people that she could call friends, but so far they were the closest thing she would ever admit to friends. Ron was slightly embarassing at times, but he was still better than anyone in any of the other houses.
She knew she didn't have to check the library, so she checked the Great Hall, and then started outside. It didn't take too long once she was outside to locate them. Ron's ridiculs red hair stood out so well, that she probably could have seen him in the dead of night. "Hey guys, who are you gawking at?" she asked, with an amused and accusing expresion on her face. She saw the older girl, but seeing as she didn't have her robes on, was unaware of was house she was in. But by the smug expression on her face she was pretty sure it was Slytherin. The boys looked like two pathetic drooling dogs, and Hermione thought if Riley had that affect on other boys, she might be quite useful. "And you are?" she asked her, in a pretentious tone.

Adrianna Hentsly, a 5th year Ravenclaw, walked out in to the sunshine in her more comfortable clothes. She wore a flowing white skirt that went down to her knees, and a purple top that matched her eyes and hair. Her hair was up in a loose bun at the top of her head, with some purple strands coming down around her face. She wore only very thin sandles on her feet, that were easy to kick off. Adrianna was not all that she seemed, and her hair was not the product of contacts or hair dye. She was infact half faerie, half witch, and there were parts of her appearance that she could not change - even in photos. But that had not stopped Dumbledore from choosing her for a Ravenclaw prefect...which had surprised her.
Adrianna loved to be outside. She often felt a little trapped indoors, even inside a place so big as Hogwarts. She was used to it though, and didn't mind it. She just prefered to be outside. Company or not, Adrianna was in the court yards or by the lake till sundown, uness she had too much homework. She walked down to the edge of the lake by a rather large tree, kicked off her shoes and sat at the edge, letting the murker water fall over her shoes. Still ignoring anyone that might be watching, Adrianna began to rub her hands together, and a growing pile of shimmery dust began to cummulate under her hands. As the wind picked some of it up, it blew in the wind...and wherever it landed, a wild flower or bit of shrubbery would grow. Adrianna began to make a patch of flowers and vines around her, watching them grow when a contented smile on her face.
She didn't notice that there were a pile of clothes close by, belonging to someone, or the three Slythering kids until she looked to her left, and saw them just a bit off. She hung her head, and hoped that they would have no reason to come near her. Slytherin students didn't like her. Being half magical creature made the ones who were obsessed with being pure blood hate her even more, treat her like an animal. She'd been called creature, beast, animal, mudblood, and any other bad name she could think of. Adrianna just continued to spread the fairy dust around, and even let some into the lake, where a new crop of lakeweeds would appear.

"Hermione Granger," she answered Riley, very casually, studying the girl. If anything, Hermione was certainly a very bright young girl...and there was not very much that got past her. "Riley Noir?" she said, squinting her eyes. "Nothing of particular importance besides money comes to mind," she smiled, not really trying to be rude...but other than a few connections to the Dark Lord (whom Hermione had become very interested in studying), and being rich, she didn't know anything about the family. And mentioning families connections to the Dark Lord on campus was a taboo, so Hermione certainly mention anything about that.
"I see you've met Ron and Harry," she looked at them. They still looked at little dumbstruck. "They're really much better conversationalists than the first appear to be," she said, half insulting them, and half defending them.

Harry snapped out of his trance when Hermione showed up and started chatting with Riley. He cleared his throat, and gave a small smile, nodding to the last statment that Hermione had said, that he and Ron were better conversationalists.
"Sorry, I've just never seen anyone who looks... quite like you do." he said to Riley, meaning what he said to be a compliment. He looked over at Hermione, and smiled at her, and then glanced over at Ron, who still seemed too in his own world to speak anytime soon.
