Apocrypha is closed.

This decision was not made lightly, as Ashley and I both love the site and have both put in a lot of time and energy to it. Unfortunately, both of us are too busy to keep up with the site. I know I've found that I often become addicted to sites and can't do my work. As next year I am going into college, I cannot allow such a thing to occur. Now activity has also been dead around here save for one or two of you. Now this was not as large a factor in the decision as our real life lives, so don't go blaming yourselves for not coming on enough or something like that. It's been so much fun to RP with you guys, I loved this site and all of you.

I'm so sorry, you guys -- I dragged you all here and begged you to be active and then when activity peaked I was so overcome with real-life issues that I couldn't even stick around. Also, I'm starting college this year, and I have a considerable record of doing badly in school because I become addicted to roleplaying, and I really want to succeed this time, so I've decided to quit roleplaying entirely in time for school (It is also a promise I have made to my mom, family, friends and everyone that believes in me to do my best, as I admit that roleplaying has kept me from doing so). Since I can't juggle roleplaying into my life successfully, it's probably best that I just stop.

I'm sorry to everyone that kept coming here and roleplaying, and who tried their best to make this roleplay fun and active, and I wish I had what it takes to make it work.

I want to thank Lia for supporting me during all the tumultuous times and always being there when I couldn't be, and for checking my decisions to make sure they were correct. She is the best sub-admin I could ever ask for, and I know she'll go continue being one of the best RPers around. :3

Kaysha, Lyric, Chelsi, Seshia, Sammi, Syao, Yuki, Spark, and Ari -- Thank you for being here and making this place the place it was. Without you, Apocrypha wouldn't have been the roleplay it was. If I haven't mentioned your name, I forgot it, but I thank everyone who has ever roleplayed here.

Thank you, and again, I'm sorry. I hope you guys continue to be the best you can be, as your posts were no less than inspiring.
