New-leaf Fields
This area got it's name because of the beauty it displays during New-leaf. Flowers are in bloom, the trees are getting buds, and all the dead plants that the frost of winter destroyed are coming back to life. New-leaf Fields is a nice place to hang out all year long; the fields are full of bushes for shade...and for little animals who don't want to be seen by the cats. The trees offer a great amount of gaurd from the sun, and the long grass is good for playing hide-and-seek.

Marshland
The Marshland is right in front of the Island, the gathering place. Only half of it belongs to RiverClan; the other half belonngs to no clan at all. The Marsh is sodden area where Cat-tail plants grow out of little puddles rimmed with tall grasses. Many different types of prey come here to drink the water or hide in the shelter of foliage, the most common of them all being mice. Mice scuttle all around this marshy terrain, digging their nests in the soft ground and raising their families.
