They think that searching out old buildings for ghosts is really scary. A few creaks, a cold spot or two, and maybe a shadow. Big deal.

About fifty years ago, when the town of Amarillo was first starting out, a family living on the edge of the town built a beautiful farm house. It was their dream to pass the house down from one generation to the next. Since they were on the edge of town there wasn't much chance to socialize, so when news of the divorce first became known people didn't think too much about it. But when the bodies of the two younger children were found two years later the gossip was as crazy as the idea that the parents were responsible. Then both parents committed suicide the day after the news hit the papers.

Since that time people have purchased the house and even managed to live there for a few months but sooner or later something happens. There was talk of the ghosts of the children waiting to revenge themselves on their parents for killing them. Then talk of the ghosts of the parents, guilty for what they have done.

Seems that after a family would move into the house things would begin to disappear. Then the next family moved in and not only did their things disappear but so did their son. Finally, the price of the house was so low that a new family moved in and not very long after they find the remains of the first family, an arm here and a leg there. Then they end up murdered, mangled as if they were chopped into firewood. The investigation begins, and the folks of Amarillo wonder what is happening to their sweet little town.
