- Altered Dreams is a literate roleplaying site. Literacy to us means you have these three things: grammar skills, spelling skills, and a talent with writing. You must be able to use some form of grammar and know how to use your caps lock button and comma button. Spelling errors occasionally are ok, but misspelling ‘seem’ or ‘are’ is very bad. We really do love descriptive, original, and active people here.

-Violence is allowed within reason. Don’t make it unnecessary, we do not want to put a limit on this, but we will if it gets out of hand.

-If you are looking for a roleplay that includes 18+ content, put some sort of warning in your title or thread description stating such. Same goes for pairing, as in femalexmale, malexmale, femalexfemale, etc.

- Harassment or flaming of any nature is unacceptable and will result in suspension. Repeated offenses will result permanent banning.

-Cursing is allowed, but you may not direct it to another member in a serious and angry manner. Cursing jokingly and in character is fine at all times. Please do not abuse this freedom.

-No double posting. That means if you make a typing error, go fix it using the edit button. Bumping is not allowed. Please keep OOC in roleplays to a minimum.

-Never ever, ever, ever, ever plagiarize. If we find that you have plagiarized, then you will automatically be suspended for up to a month.(Plagiarism is stealing another person’s writings or ideas and claiming them to be yours or even crediting the person, but not asking and receiving permission first.)

-Be civil with one another.

-Originality is a requirement. If you have all stereo-types, you may very well end up getting banned.

-Advertising is only permitted in the specified forum for it. Do not put links in your signature to other roleplaying sites.

-Please mark your roleplay topics with either an ISO (In Search Of) or as Open so people know what they can and cannot join

Breaking any of these rules can and will result in any of the following;
Warning level increased
Suspension
Banning

Continuing to break the rules will ultimately result in permanent banning.
