If you knew how to make games, would you make one on Ace Lightning?

It could be pretty cool, making an app for the iPhone or zune, or simple games for handhelds or too complex 3D games for PC. It would be pretty cool to make more games based on Ace Lightning to continue the show's legacy. Similar to the way u guys have continued the show's legacy through making fanfiction, comics and fanart.

Anyhow, if u had the chance to, would you?

Hmmm.... An Ace Lightning MMORPG could be interesting.

But If I could do something with the show I'd do a remake or new series.

Hey, I thought exactly the same thing. An MMORPG.
What would make that MMORPG really cool is making ur own villain or lightning knight. Kinda like Runescape.

I wonder if any of u guys know how to make flash games. That would be nice.
I'm learning C++ programming and flash, so it'll take me ages to be a master.
I'd be so happy if I had any Ace Lightning app or game on my zune HD.

The huge range of locations from the game world would be cool for a MMORPG.

Runescape used to be so fun. And Maplestory. Making an Ace version of that would be kinda awkward. And there'd be Limited things to do. We do not have much of an idea about the culture of lightning knights and their world.

However, it'd be fun if u think about it. Wearing different clothes, armour, weapons, completing different quests, fighting the enemies and making money, etc.

Well if one doesn't know it can always be created by someone talented. Like Nat has proved.

I registered for Runescape but only played a little. I found it boring. I did like pretending to have rare items and trying to sell them.

I'd prefer just a single-player (2P co-op at most) RPG campaign myself. I can't picture the character/story driven world of Ace Lightning being able to fit into the user-driven world of MMORPGs, especially seeing as both the knights and the carnival seem to be doing what they do because of personal belief, not for money and items wink.gif
Mind you, I'm a bit harsh on MMORPGs altogether because I just don't enjoy them. I like to play a really involving story, I don't like to play as a mary-sue version of myself.
I'd LOVE an RPG though. I'm fluent in Enterbrain's RPG game engine, but I don't think the generic 2D Final Fantasy approach to RPGs would make a good Ace game at all.

I'd so a sequel to the actual video game - similar to Batman: Arkham Asylum in which Ace has to fight Lord Fear in the Sixth Dimension's prison.

Yeah. MMORPGs get really boring after a while.
I like a Rayman-type game. That used to be a fun game.
But u know, these kinds of games for ace lightning would seem a bit.... kiddy?
That's why I suggested the MMORPG.

Ace Lightning IS a kid show no matter what.

MMORPGs do get boring, an RPG would great but I find them hard to get into sometimes as well.

Ace Lightning Counter-strike mod. LOL!
That's a really good idea. Let's make one!

I've seen a DragonballZ mod for Half-life,
Ace lightning mod for Half-life or counter-strike or any FPS shooter game would be SOOO awesome. Choose what lightning knight or villain u wanna be.
Maybe u could even make some ace-related maps: Mark's house, Rick's computer shack, The carnival of doom, Conestoga Hills Middle school, Conestoga Hills High school, the thunder tower and the sixth dimension!

This is the best idea yet. And I'm sure it's not that hard. Let's do it!

Ace Lightning doesn't lend well to a first-person shooter at all...
huh.gif

Actually picturing it in my mind now I can see an epic Ace Lightning RPG like the Golden Sun series on the Gameboy Advance.

I know right? biggrin.gif Different leveling up mechanisms depending on whether you're playing the good or evil campaign? Yes please!

And Lightning Knight uniforms really lend themselves to being included in an equipment list.

hey, i've got an even better idea
A mod of the elder scrolls game.
I have The Elder Scrolls 3 (morrowind)
and u can change the viewing from 1st person to 3rd person (i think that's what u call it)
It's perfect! I can't wait to make something. And the game comes with a construction set. I'm thinking it's for making mods and maps.

This idea seems good. Choose between the lightning knights or the carnival villains. Go to different places such as: Mark's house, Rick's computer shack, The carnival of doom, Conestoga Hills Middle school, Conestoga Hills High school, the thunder tower and the sixth dimension. Use the special abilities the characters have. And best of all, FIGHT!!!

But the only thing I hate is that I've attempted the game 5 times and I get pissed off at the 1st level.

What I had in mind was mod the whole thing
Change the weapons, the characters, the objectives and the maps.
So if u wanted to buy the sword of jacob or a lightning lance, u could.
But I guess it would ruin the uniqueness of the characters. Who cares...
It'll make the game more fun. To think about it, I guess a CS mod is still good.

I imagined playing as Ace, buying a wrist cannon, a power-pack and a protection vest. That's simple. And the wrist cannon is ur weapon, the power-pack ur ammo and the vest for protection. That's what u already see on ace.

If u wanted to choose sparx, u could buy a power-pack and the sword of jacob.(to make the character appear like her on film). But of course, u can buy things that don't belong to that character. So u could buy Sparx a lightning lance or buy Ace the sword of Jacob. It can work out.

I can envision it but it just doesn't seem like it work for Ace Lightning. Just shooting all the villians? It would be fun for a little bit...

u get hand-to-hand combat too (in The Elder Scrolls)
I guess The Elder Scrolls is best for a mod. A CS mod would be fun too.
So anyway, in the elder scrolls, u can do all sorts of attacks. Magic too!
The elder scrolls, believe it or not, feels like runescape, counter-strike and rayman put together!
