Advanced Member Group: Members Posts: 175 Member No.: 77 Joined: 5-October 08	Does anyone feel like a competition to see who can be the coolest lightning knight using video editing software? How about it? Want to make some sorta competition? A test to see who has the coolest ideas... Dress up competition? Design your own lightning knight? anyway, I'm making some short films . Most are about world issues. Some are experiments with After effects. Some are just things I do, like rubik cubing, computer programming, etc. I really enjoy film making and editing. I've agreed with my friend that we'll have a recorded light saber fight and I'll edit the video so it looks like real light sabers. I recently bought Adobe After effetcs CS4 and it's AWESOME! I can have almost any super power I could have dreamt of.

I am gonna have a lightning lance too =P (actually a blue lightsaber) Have lightning come out of my hands and fingers Shoot lightning from my lightning lance And more..... It's gonna take me HEAPS of time to learn and make but it's worth it in the end. .... We don't know what each other looks like on this forum, do we? Well, of course, u haven't seen me yet. Bet u'll crack up laughing seeing a teenager impersonate ace lightning

I'm not sure I even have the time or money to create a Lightning Knight themed costume, but now you've put the idea in my head. Mind you, I wouldn't be so tempted by filming myself in it. How about animation, I've used Vegas to create a couple of Ace animations, would something like that count? --------------------

After watching all those after effects videos, I was amazed with all the possibilities. Sure, make what you want. I'm fine.

We have that software at university. It really is brilliant, on account of the fact that it can take 2D and 3D animations.

My sister got this awesome touch tablet laptop and with all these mad programmes and features.... all for her uni course. It's amazing how you uni kids are well resourced. I'm not old enough for uni, though I do think you guys are lucky. (jealous ) sigh... At least I get to 'have' my sister's old laptop for a year.
