The Main Gates and Courtyard Just what it sounds like, really. There's a special drop-off zone just outside the massive iron gates for arriving students and their families to say their goodbyes, and inside is a large courtyard, lavishly decorated with a wide variety of flora and fauna; and it's lush green lawns are complete with a grand fountain that was built shortly after the opening of the academy. The Detention Center You've been a bad, bad boy, and because of that you've wound up in the detention center. Away from the main school, this small building contains places made to hold the more troublesome students, these places are state-of-the-art holding cells, and have their own security systems. If you mess up big time, you'll be in here for quite a while.

The Main Lobby A large welcoming area that seems straight from some of the nicer hotels in the country. Several couches, tables, and chairs all spaced out throughout, as well as a sizable fireplace to keep the place cozy in cold weather, and a big-screen television to keep occupants ... well, occupied. Stop by the registration desk to get everything sorted out for your stay. Forum Led by: Miko Kitty |

The Dormitories Not like your usual dorms, mind you. Not only because co-ed living is allowed, but because they're more like small condos than anything else. A small kitchen and dining area, living room / entryway, two bedrooms, and a shared bathroom. Everything is pre-furnished with furniture that looks like it was bought out of an actual store as well; not a garage sale. So no worries there; you're all taken care of. Forum Led by: Miko Kitty |

The Teacher's Quarters ...oh yeah. They're spoiled. Not only do they live in full-fledged apartments, but the apartments almost resemble penthouses. A full-size kitchen and dining room, a living room, a guest bedroom and bathroom, and the master bedroom; complete with a large canopy bed and a bathroom almost resembling a spa... The Gym An enormous gymnasium, divided into five seperate areas. The first is strictly an exercise room; everything from weight machines to free weights to cardio machines (treadmills, exercise bikes, etcetera). The second is the largest; an enclosed area measuring 100 meters by 100 meters, with steel-reinforced concrete walls some two feet thick, and padded floors. This area is specialized for sparring matches, both with and without powers. The next area worth mention is the second floor of the gym; which houses a quarter-mile running track (students are encouraged to bring their own water).
The fourth and fifth areas are the boys and girls locker rooms. If you want to use a locker, you have to bring your own lock, but towels for the showers and sauna in each locker room are complimentary (though, not to leave the gym). Forum Led by: Miko Kitty |

The Food Court A spacious indoor food court catering to numerous tastes. Chinese, Japanese, Italian, American, Mexican, and even some French food is served here; catering to the academy's varied student body with even more varied tastes. Though, sorry couch potatoes; no fast-food restaurants. You are however, permitted to take the food back to your dorm if you don't want to eat at the cafeteria. A large patio is available to dine outside during fair weather. Forum Led by: Miko Kitty |

The Library A grand library, with such an extensive collection of books in most every major language that this is the closest thing to heaven on earth for any book nerd. The first floor contains most of the books, divided not just by category but by language, as well as several tables and comfortable chairs for reading. The second floor houses twenty-four quiet study rooms, each containing a large table and eight chairs. The second floor also has 32 computer stations, for students who wish to keep in contact with their families in the outside world without having to rack up massive phone bills. The Classrooms Located inside the main building, this is where the learning happens. Though, I don't suppose you needed to be told that. Courses range from elementary grades all the way up to college courses, considering that most peoples powers become active during such a timeframe and could very well prevent them from obtaining an education elsewhere. The Swimming Pool An enormous outdoor swimming pool, heated of course, located behind the main building for relief on those hot summer days. Or if you're one of those fitness nuts who just *has* to swim ten laps a day or you'll explode. There are six hot tubs; three on each side of the walkway leading to the swimming pool, with a maximum occupancy of twenty people each. Towels are provided, though are not to leave the pool area. Nurse's Office Given how reckless some of the students [and faculty] are with their powers, it's only good sense to have a fully-functional infirmary on campus. Anything short of an ER situation can be managed effectively by the staff, so try not to go around losing limbs willy-nilly, would you? They just aren't properly equipped to go around re-attaching body parts on a regular basis... Forum Led by: Miko Kitty |
