Appearance:
Standing at only 5'3" and weighing 113 pounds, this dark beauty is quite small for her age. Her attire of black and gray flows down her petite form in ruffles; her shoulder sleeves, inflated to hide frail arms, are colored black while her sleeves shift to a gray hue. Also, hanging from the gray sleeves are strands of gold ribbons. Her dress also has a V shaped opening which ceases just below her torso. Had it not been for her gray undergarment beneath, her small treasures would have been exposed. Her attire has another opening, taking on the outline of an "A". The point of the "A" opening ends just bellow her navel; beneath the opening is the remaining gray covering. Lastly, Alarica's has a gray sash loosely wrapped around her waist.

Perched upon her delicate hand is her loyal companion, Gaafa. She cannot recall when they first met. As far as she knows, they've been together for as long as time began. But he has other uses besides companionship. Sometimes Alarica uses the creature for espionage.

Personality:
Seemly serene violet eyes which speak of a hidden pain and a small frown. Such features are what portray a shy girl; a girl who occupies her time in isolation and only speaks when addressed. These distinguishable attributes, however, are also the most deceiving about the girl. In reality, Alarica is outspoken, almost to the point of being crude. Yet, her language isn't forceful; it’s subtle. She has a gracious aura about her being and if one were not careful, they would think her to be polite.

She has distaste for obnoxious people, even though she too can have such a trait. She also isn't very fond of cats seeing that she has a winged companion. The girl also has a problem with keeping her hands to herself. Alarica has no psychological reason for her prying hands. If she has the urge, she'll let her fingers explore. But despite her bad traits, she is quite loyal and still crude toward those she call friends.

When she associates with her winged companions her personality seems to change. She becomes affectionate and kind, often showering them with love and appreciation. She believes they are the only she can trust. Alarica can tell them everything in confidence, believing they will not abandon her. Alarica has few fears, insects being one of them. But the fear that she holds dear is abandonment. This is perhaps the only way one can explain her bravado.




Powers:
Tsume Mousetsu (false talons): This is a weapon Alarica herself crafted. They resemble arm bands, only they're faulty and horrid in appearance. Three evenly distanced metal bands, beginning from her wrist to her elbow, cover her arm. Running over the bands is a broad, flat metal box. Within the box are rows of metal plates crafted to resemble bird talons. They lay dormant within the box until called upon(smacks them to pop up). Ripping through her sleeves, the "talons" are shaped like that of an eagle's and face toward Alarica to be used in a slashing motion.

Telepathy: Alarica has the ability to communicate with birds. Though she can speak with them, they're not always so willing to listen.

Houjo (Assistance): Using various calling sounds, (she only knows the language of the crow and a few common bird languages) Alarica is able to ask birds within the area for assistance. Such an attack is usable only if the creatures are cooperative or if she knows their tongue.

Skills:
Sewing: This is a skill that Alarica is exceptional at. Such experience came from hours upon hours of clothes mending, mostly her sleeves.

Blacksmith: Alarica spends a lot of her time creating small trinkets and such from metal. She isn't too good at the skill. Her best creation is her weapon, Tsume Mousetsu, though even that is questionable.

History:
Alarica Anke Leiah was born an only child in Israel. Her father was a hefty business man which co-owned a few oil mines around the country. So one could say Alarica lived a very privileged life. She never knew how her parents met. But when her father would acknowledge her, he would jest about buying her mother from on-line. Over time, she realized that his jokes weren't merely jests.

Her mother would pamper the girl to make up for the lack of attention her father paid her. When she was younger, such indulgence did little to mend the hole which her father left. But over time, Alarica grew to accept it, turning her into an unruly child.

In school, because her father was very wealthy, she was the most popular as well as the most hated. She was disgusted that classmates only associated with her in hopes of getting a few favors. When Alarica did not indulge them, she was eventually abandoned. To make up for her lost "friends", Alarica spent more time associating with birds. When she first discovered her ability to communicate to birds, she would tell her mother all the conversation which she held with them. Her mother found the notion unsettling, and tried to shower Alarica with trinkets to distract. From that day she stopped associating with her mother, disgusted by her bribery.

As seasons passed, Israel was becoming too dangerous a place to dwell in. Realizing this, father decided to reside in England. Wanting to be a good business man, Alarica's father dabbled in a few languages, English included, so moving to a new country wouldn't be too difficult; he assumed his daughter was bright enough to learn it as well.

During her first three years of high school, Alarica was constantly transferred from school to school; all the others were not to her liking. Often times, she was ridiculed by her classmates when they caught her socializing with her birds. This had earned her various names, the most popular: bird woman. Her mother had almost given up her search when she came Academia Mutandis. Even her daughter, who had no earlier interest in the schools, grew curious. So at the end of her junior year, she was enrolled into the Academy.
