After a long few days of even more press for Scream 4 Hayden was ready to relax, spend some quality time with her girlfriend and perhaps be on the other side of the screen. Which is why after her last meeting of the day with her 'people' she'd called Emmy and asked her to meet her at the Arclight so they could catch a movie. Preferably one that had been out for a while so the theater wouldn't be too crowded. As her taxi pulled up to the building she scanned the crowd for her brunette beauty, grinning when she spotted her a few feet away. Tossing the driver a 20 she hopped out of the cab and made her way across the plaza to Em. She had to be coy about her excitement though, make it seem like she was just happy to see a friend. Sure they'd agreed to exclusivity and she took every chance when they were alone to call Emmy her girlfriend, but her girlfriend was not ready to come out of the closet with the rest of the world just yet and she'd respect that. Fact was she hadn't exactly come out yet, though she'd never denied it either. Putting her arms out she wrapped Em in a hug when she reached her, pecking her cheek and whispering a quick 'I missed you' before pulling back. "So did you decide on a movie?"

Emmy was standing around in front of the movie theater, looking around the sparse crowd for her secret girlfriend, and at the posters. She was wearing her dark hair up in a bun and had a black lady's trench coat on that came down just to her knees. The belt was done up so that nothing can be seen, other than her modestly high heels. As she stood around, almost impatiently waiting, she couldn't help but think back a few years to when she was in Phantom of the Opera. Her brain couldn't stop from drawing the parallels between this secret relationship and that secret engagement. But then again she still couldn't bring herself to admit to anyone other than her loving girlfriend that she was in fact a lesbian. Or that she had in fact fallen in love with a woman. Technically that made her a lesbian. But it wasn't that she would walk down the street and ogle and drool over other attractive women.

When Hayden showed up she smiled and wrapped her arm around her waist, indulging the peck and returning it. Even here, in public, it was tough to try and hold herself back. Her body really wanted to give in to all the pleasure that could be derived from showing some real affection and receiving some. But her mind wouldn't allow it. "Hey babe. I've really missed you too. And no. I can't decide. You pick. As long as I get to sit in a dark place with you by my side I'll be happy, regardless of what's playing." Emmy whispered so no one would hear how she felt towards Hayden in her tone of voice.

It was hard to keep from staring at Emmy's gorgeous legs sticking out from that trench but she reigned in her hormones a moment and focused her eyes on the soulful brown ones staring back at her. "Of course." She teased bumping Em with her hip gently before starting to usher her towards the doors, leaning up to whisper back first though. "I feel the same way though." Grinning she pulled back again, playfully swatting her 'friend's' backside, quickly and as discreetly as possible. "How about we see Hop?" She chuckled, moving up to the window to pay for their tickets. It seemed like the best choice. It had been out for a while and it was the middle of the school day so hopefully there wouldn't be too many people in there with them. She wanted some privacy with Em outside of their respective houses.

Emmy had to stop herself from scoffing at and rolling her eyes at Hayden as she was being all playful and trying to act as friends would as opposed to hormone addled lovers. Emmy was finding it really hard. But then again what was under the coat wasn't making it any easier either. At least the knowledge of it. When Hayden suggested a movie though she couldn't stop herself from laughing though. Yes it was a funny choice, but also because it was a subtle way for her to let out some of her tension and emotions. "You have to pick a kids movie that isn't even all that good. Want me a lone in the dark don't you?" Emmy teased in Hayden's ear as her girlfriend paid before they moved into the building finally.

She laughed as Em teased her about the choice of film. "Hey you weren't 'hopping' up to make a decision. Besides..." Her lips curved into a small smirk as she turned to hand over Emmy's ticket. "How do you know it's not good. An easter bunny that poops jellybeans isn't high brow enough for you?" Of course she was just teasing back and as they headed in the direction of their theater she let the back of her hand brush across Em's. She wanted so bad to hold it but that would have to do for now. After stopping by the concession stand for something to drink and a box of candy they made their way to theater 10, finding it much to Hayden's excitement completely empty. "Well it looks like we have our pick of seats." Chuckling she took her girlfriend's hand and led her up the stairs to the very back row, taking place directly in the middle and stretching her short, toned legs out in front of her. "So sexy face, tell me how your day has been."

Emmy did back flips from happiness when they got to the theater and saw that it was totally empty and the trailers were already starting to roll. That was a very good sign. The back flips were all internal of course. Since she hadn't done gymnastics since high school and chances were she'd end up seriously hurting herself. A trip to the ER was not her idea of a fun secret date. This dark empty theater was. She stretched her legs out beside Hayden's as they got a little snugly against one another in the seats and Emmy could let her guard down completely. "Well it started out the usual way. Jogging, yoga in the back yard. But then it was all work. As much as I like the idea of having all the filming for a show done before the season even starts, I truly love my summers. And this summer is going to be jam packed with no free time." Emmy was really bummed out about that. She knew that her and Hayden had been tentatively talking about some hot beach vacation in Thailand or something. But that idea had the kibosh put to it. She dreaded seeing Hayden's reaction to that let down.

Once Em had taken her seat and stretched out those sexy legs of hers Hayden was more than happy to snuggle up, her head laying gently against her shoulder, while her hand rested comfortably on top of Emmy's thigh, thumb brushing back and forth slowly. She was happy to listen to the little intricacies of her lover's day, smiling as she imagined her in all those sexy yoga poses and what she would have done to her if she'd been home. But then she mentioned the show and how it would be stealing her away for the better part of the summer and she pouted a little. "Aww, poo. That's your way of telling me no Thailand huh?" Sighing she tilted her head up a little, nuzzling her lips along the underside of Em's jaw. "Its okay I guess, there's plenty of time later for other vacations. I was just really hoping to get you all to myself for longer than a night."

Emmy wasn't looking in Hayden's direction. Her eyes were pointed in the direction of the movie screen, but her brain was in no way processing anything that was going on up there what so ever. She was there with Hayden. Sitting with her at her side, feeling her touch, touching her back. She did have a very sad and disappointed look on her face. If their trip to Thailand would have worked Emmy could have had three whole weeks of uninterrupted time with Hayden. Time during which she didn't have to pretend to be anything other than the sexy blonde's lover. No hiding. No sneaking around. Yes this was all Emmy's idea. But it was tiring as hell. It was starting to wear on Emmy. She knew she couldn't come out and admit that she was dating a girl. It would ruin her career and her family. At least at this point in time. Which left her wondering if being in a lesbian relationship was really worth it. But she wasn't thinking that now. Now she was here with Hayden. Comforted. Happy. "Sorry baby. I'll have to come up with a way to make it all up to you somehow. I promise I will."

Hayden sighed though she was still smiling her hand moving down over Emmy's knee massaging her way back up her thigh, pushing the jacket up a little. "It's alright baby. I know you will. You know I'm not disappointed for me, but us, you. We deserve our chance and we'll get it at some point. Don't make yourself feel guilty over it though okay?" Her lips were starting trail up Em's jawline again, breathing out each word against her porcelain skin. "Let's just focus on right now. And right now all I really want to do is kiss you." She smiled again moving her hand up and away from between her lover's legs to cradle her cheek, making her look over so she could see the desirous twinkle in her green eyes before their lips finally locked in a sweet and long overdue kiss.

Hayden's words were nice. Emmy knew they were meant to be nice. But she knew that they weren't much more than that. She knew Hayden was too nice to admit that she was disappointed. That she really wanted this for herself as much as she wanted it for the two of them and for Emmy's sake. She didn't blame her secret lover for not owning up to that. She wouldn't have owned up to it either. The kiss was really nice though. As much as she liked Hayden's hand being sneaky and slowly inching up her thigh, being grabbed for a kiss like that was far more pleasurable. For a while Emmy forgot that they were even in a movie theater and she just made out with Hayden. It was fun and exciting. Even though things were getting a little heated, it was still relaxing. Emmy could sink away into all of it. She did however find time to undo the buckle of her coat. That was all the work she'd do though. From there Hayden could discover for herself what was being worn underneath it.

She was in heaven every time she kissed Emmy and this was no exception. The warm silkiness of her lover's lips was enough to get her engine revved in and of itself but even more so now it was the emotion and equal eagerness that she returned that really had Hayden wanting to ravage her girlfriend right then and there in that dark theater. Everything in due time, although when Emmy's coat began to fall open and her own hand dipped inside to find more bare flesh than she would have expected she couldn't control the low growl of approval that accompanied the rush of wet heat between her thighs. For a moment she pulled her lips away, grinning like the cheshire cat. "Naughty little minx aren't you?" She teased lovingly, pushing the coat open more to reveal Em's exquisite physique covered with just the right amount of lingerie to torture Hayden's inner sex goddess. "You..are...so fucking sexy...do you know that?" Her already low, rasped voice came out with a purr as she leaned in to nibble at Emmy's earlobe a little, her hand moving slowly over her flat, exposed tummy before starting to inch down between her legs again. "Do you have any idea what this does to me?"

Emmy hated feeling like a bit of a selfish lover. She couldn't help herself though. It was so nice to get Hayden to do things to her. The way in which Hayden's hands, or body in general, could touch Emmy's was just so completely wild. It was electrifying beyond belief. As Hayden's hands moved over Emmy's bare skin, and she heard the growls and general sounds of approval coming from her lover, Emmy couldn't help herself. The thought was totally washed away from her. She would fret about her insecurities about how the things she does, the ways in which she touched Hayden, not being good enough later. Now she was in heaven. "I have a feeling it does to you exactly what I hoped it would." Emmy finally said in half a cheeky giggle, and half a whimper of pleasure due to where Hayden's hands were inching towards.
